TalkLivCam Privacy Policy
This policy follows your information through its whole life on TalkLivCam: how it reaches us, what we do with it, who else can see it, how long it stays and how you can change or remove it. It covers talklivcam.com and the home screen version of the site. Questions go to [email protected], where a person will answer.

TalkLivCam is a live video chat service. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean the team that runs it, and "you" means anyone who visits or uses it, whether you are a guest who opened the site five minutes ago or a member with an account and a list of people you follow.
The policy applies to everything you do on talklivcam.com, including random matches, calls from profiles, messages, live streams and clubs. It does not cover other websites, even if someone shares a link to one inside a chat.
Information arrives in three ways. Some you give us on purpose, some is created simply because you use the site, and a small amount comes from the services that help us run it.
We use information to make the service work and to keep it safe. In practice that means connecting you to a match, showing you who is online, delivering messages, remembering who you follow, processing purchases, handling reports, finding and removing accounts that break the rules, fixing bugs and understanding which features people actually use.
We also use it to answer you when you write to us and, if you have an account, to send important notices about it. We do not sell your information, and we do not use the content of your private conversations to build advertising profiles.
Video and voice in matches and calls travel between you and the other person so that you can see and hear each other. The person you are talking to sees whatever your camera shows, so check your background before you start, and remember that nothing technical stops someone from pointing another device at their screen.
Our rules forbid recording or capturing other people without their consent, and you can report anyone who does. Live streams are visible to everyone watching them, and comments you write in a stream are visible to the whole room.
Other users see what you choose to show them: your display name, profile photo, what you say and what your camera shows. Anything you post inside a club is visible to the members of that club.
Behind the scenes, a few kinds of companies help us run TalkLivCam, such as hosting, content delivery, payment processing and analytics providers. They receive only what they need for their job and may not use it for their own purposes. We may also share information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect someone from serious harm.
Information stays with us only while it still serves the reason we collected it. Account details stay while your account is open. Records of purchases stay for the period that tax and bookkeeping law sets. Reports and the information attached to them may be kept longer, because they help us spot people who return after being removed.
Once that reason is gone, the data is deleted or reduced so that it no longer points to you.
You can change your display name and photo in the app at any time, block people, and decide whether to turn on your camera. You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as objecting to certain uses of your data.
To make any request, write to [email protected] from the address linked to your account if you have one. We may ask a question or two to confirm it is really you before we act.
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your settings, keep guests connected to the same session and measure how the site performs. You can clear them in your browser settings; the site will still work, but you may be treated as a new guest. The full list of what we collect is on the What we collect page.
TalkLivCam is only for people who are at least eighteen. We never set out to gather data about anyone below that age. If we learn that someone under that age is using the service, we close the account and delete what we hold about them. If you believe a minor is using TalkLivCam, please tell us.
Whenever our handling of information changes, this page and the date above change with it. For significant changes, we will also let account holders know in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
