TalkLivCam What We Collect

What We Collect

The privacy policy explains the principles. This page is the inventory, written for people who want specifics rather than legal phrasing. Nothing on it is collected for advertising, and nothing is sold. For each kind of information TalkLivCam handles, you will find what it is, why we need it and what you can do about it. If you spot something missing, write to [email protected].

01 Guest identifier

  • What it is: a random ID stored on your device when you first open TalkLivCam as a guest.
  • Why we need it: to keep your session together, so your matches, follows and coins stay with you while you use the site.
  • Your control: clearing your browser storage removes it; the next visit creates a new one.

02 Account details

  • What it is: your display name, profile photo and, if you create an account, the email or sign-in details linked to it.
  • Why we need it: to show other people who they are talking to and to let you return to the same account later.
  • Your control: change your name and photo in the app; ask support to delete the account entirely.

03 Matches, calls and follows

  • What it is: a record of which matches and calls happened and when, who you follow and who you have blocked.
  • Why we need it: to show your follow list, keep blocked people away from you and look into reports.
  • Your control: unfollow or block anyone at any time from their profile.

04 Messages and club posts

  • What it is: text, photos and short videos you send in messages or post in clubs.
  • Why we need it: to deliver them, to show your conversation history and to check reported content.
  • Your control: think before you send; ask support to delete your account and the content linked to it.

05 Live stream activity

  • What it is: which streams you watched, the comments you wrote and the gifts you sent.
  • Why we need it: to show your comments to the room, credit gifts correctly and handle reports about stream behavior.
  • Your control: comments are public inside the stream, so write accordingly.

06 Purchases

  • What it is: the coins and VIP you bought, when and for how much, and how coins were spent. Full card numbers are handled by the payment provider, not stored by us.
  • Why we need it: to deliver what you paid for, keep accounting records and help with payment questions.
  • Your control: contact support about any purchase; records required by law are kept for the required period.

07 Reports

  • What it is: reports you file and reports filed about you, with the details attached to them.
  • Why we need it: to act on rule breaking and to recognize people who come back after being removed.
  • Your control: you choose when to file a report; ask support if you believe a decision about you was wrong.

08 Device and connection data

  • What it is: browser and device type, language, screen size, IP address and the approximate location it suggests, and error logs.
  • Why we need it: to make video work on your device, show the right language, prevent abuse and fix bugs.
  • Your control: your browser settings and network choices; some of this is needed for the service to work at all.

09 Cookies and analytics

  • What it is: cookies and local storage that keep you signed in and remember settings, plus analytics that measure page speed and usage.
  • Why we need it: to keep the site working smoothly and understand which features people use.
  • Your control: clear or block cookies in your browser; the site still works, though you may appear as a new guest.

10 Camera and microphone access

  • What it is: the permission your browser gives TalkLivCam to use your camera and microphone during matches, calls and your own preview window.
  • Why we need it: without it, the person you meet cannot see or hear you, which is the whole point of a video chat.
  • Your control: allow or deny it in the browser prompt, revoke it in browser settings at any time, or choose a text match instead.

11 Language and display settings

  • What it is: the language your browser reports and choices such as sound on or off.
  • Why we need it: to show the site in a readable way and remember small preferences between visits.
  • Your control: change them in the app or in your browser; clearing site data resets them.

12 What we leave out on purpose

Some things a chat site could ask for, we simply do not. Knowing the gaps is as useful as knowing the list above.

  • No contact book: TalkLivCam never asks to read your phone contacts or your social media friends.
  • No precise location: we do not request GPS access; the rough region from your IP address is all we see.
  • No full card numbers: those stay with the payment provider.
  • No marketing profiles: we do not build advertising profiles from what you say in chats or sell information to data brokers.

13 Support emails

  • What it is: the messages you send to support and our replies.
  • Why we need it: to solve your problem and keep track of the case if you write again.
  • Your control: include only what we need; ask us to delete the conversation once it is resolved.
